Rhema For Living 21st August 2022 MESSAGE
Parents, your teen is your responsibility. It is your sole responsibility to nurture, nourish and bring up your teen in the way of the Lord.
The teenage stage of life carves for attention because of its peculiarity. That stage of life needs certain explanation for certain happenings in its body system. That stage of life craves for expressions which need proper guidance to channel them correctly to the glory of God. That stage of life needs devotion and care.
Don’t be too busy with other affairs and allow the care and attention you need to give to your teen slip off you to the adversary out there. Your teen should be able to know and tell that you love him or her. He or she should be able to adjust to what you can afford per time knowing if you have more, you will do more because of the love you communicate.
Therefore, do not leave the knowledge you need to give to your teen in the hands of others. There are certain knowledge that is best impacted at home by the parents and guardian. Certain discipline and mode of behavior are best impacted by the parents. When your teens know you are concerned about about every aspect of their upbringing, it gives them reasons to trust you with everything about them.
Esther, a teenage girl who was an orphan had Mordecai her uncle as parent. Nothing of his wife was mentioned in her upbringing, yet he brought her up in the way of the Lord.
It is time to awake to parental responsibility. Your teen is your responsibility.
PRAYER: MY Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, help me Lord to give my teens the attention they deserve.
