TOPIC: Be Orderly (2)
BIBLE READING: Jeremiah 48-50
TEXT: “Let all things be done decently and in order.” 1 Cor. 14 :40.
If you want to fully become what God has made you to be, you must learn to be orderly. There are structures for orderliness in various places even in the house of God, learn to obey them. When you come into a place, respect the structure for order there. It speak volume of your maturity. Don’t promote chaos and disorderliness because of your lack of respect for structure. Learn to obey instructions that promote order.
Don’t allow selfishness and greed, make you lose it and be disorderly like some persons do each time gift items are shared. If the instruction in ground is for a family to take a pack of gift items, do so. Don’t split your family into several numbers because you want each one to collect a pack as if your are several families. That is disorderliness and sin. God is able to multiply that one pack that is apportioned to a family into several folds for your family if you behave orderly.
Learn to walk up to trash cans and dispose your waste. To eat and drop the waste in the sanctuary, church premises, on the street, on the floor of your sitting or bed room or office because there are people assigned or paid to clean up the place is disorderliness. Learn to follow the order of arrangement put in place per time to achieve excellence so that people can emulate. Stop doing things anyhow, respect time schedule for appointments.
Place things in their positions so that they can e easily accessed even with minimal light. If you moved things out of their position for a temporary purpose, such as seats in the sanctuary, learn to take them back to their position to maintain order.
As you make conscious effort to be orderly, I see God ordering your steps to greatness.
