TOPIC: There Are Men For You (2)
DAILY BIBLE READING: 2 Samuel 4-6
TEXT: “And Saul also went home to Gibeah; and there went with him a band of men, whose hearts God had touched”. – 1 Sam. 10 :26
Child of God, you are not alone, there are men who believe in you and are for you. And the truth is that those who believe in you are more than those 2ho are against you, so focus on what boost your strength. Just as the forces at work in your favor in the realm of the spirit, so are they physically. The earlier you begin to comprehend this truth, the faster you place a dand for those who are for you to be connected to you. Most times believers are deceived by the barking if few dogs pretending to be several roaring lions against them.
Listen, it was one major voice, Goliath that spoke for the Philistines against Israel and it was his death that also led to the end the battle. The Philistines had Goliath and the Israelites had David which is one against one. Every other warrior on that battle field was dependent on the outcome of the fight between Goliath and David.
And David had God on His side, the major determinant of the victory; the one who enriches one’s life with relevant men and helpers of destiny that brings about cheap victory. And just like David, you ha r God on your sode which makes your life have more suporters in your favour than opposers. Never you forget that no matter the falsehood of the adversary.
In 2 kings 6 :17; Gehazi was almost lost in fear when he saw the opposition that came up against them. But Elisha prayed that God should open his eyes and the LORD opened his eyes and he saw and behold the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
What came up against them was horses and chariots (2 kings 6 :15), but what was for them was horses and chariots of fire for out God is a consuming fire Heb. 12 :29.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I thank you Lord for there men for me, committed to helping me.
