From Nobody To Somebody (5)

BIBLE READING: Job 1-3
TEXT: “And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship. Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your bets for a draught.” Luke 5 :3 – 4
OFM Rhema For Living 26th May 2023 MESSAGE: To move from nobody to somebody you must live a sacrificial life. You must favour God’s righteous course. Something must leave you to trigger His divine hand in transporting you from a nobody to somebody. In Luke chapter 5; let’s take a look at what happened. Jesus needed a ship to use to minister the word of God for the people pressed on Him to hear the word. Peter offered his and Jesus ministered the word of God.
It was after that sacrifice that Jesus instructed Peter to launch out his net into the deep for a drag.
In this instance, one would wonder if Jesus did not see them about to park up their nets frustrated for catching nothing? Why didn’t he at that point ask them to launch out their nets into the deep?
Hear me! God is God, His ways are awesome.
He had an urgent need to preach the word, and Peter was sensitive to meet that need and he provoked a divine instructions that catapulted him from being a nobody to a person of influence
There are needs in the vineyard of the Lord, there is a need for soul winning, for the gospel to be preach all over the earth.
You can meet needs in the kingdom and catapult yourself out of that level to a person of substance.
God is looking for men to make kingdom treasurers but it begins with you triggering His hand in your favour. Learn to live a sacrificial life, use your skill for the Lord. Serve him with that talent He has given unto you sacrificially. Sacrificial service will always trigger divine remembrance.
I pray for you, your life will be a living proof that it pays to serve God sacrificially.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, empower me afresh for sacrificial service.
