LESSON TWENTY-ONE (21)
TOPIC: BENEFIT OF WORSHIP II: SPIRITUAL GROWTH

BIBLE TEXT: EXODUS 33:13-14
[13]Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.
[14]And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.

MEMORY VERSE: Psalms 32:8, “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye”.

LESSON AIM: The teens will discover the Benefits of Worshipping God in His presence through divine direction and spiritual growth.

INTRODUCTION: Worship is a powerful way to connect with God, bringing divine direction that guides our steps and decisions. It fosters spiritual growth, strengthening our faith and refining our character. In worship, we experience God’s presence, which fills our lives with peace, joy, and a deep sense of fulfillment. Worship also transforms our hearts and minds, aligning us with God’s will and opening doors to His blessings and favor. Ultimately, it deepens our relationship with God, drawing us closer to Him and enriching our lives with His love and grace.

OUTLINES:
A. DIVINE DIRECTION THROUGH WORSHIP
1. Worship helps us focus on God by trusting in Him with all your heart for direction (Proverbs 3:5-6)
2. God will show you His ways, teach you His paths as you open your heart to hear His voice (Psalm 25:4-5)

B. SPIRITUAL GROWTH THROUGH WORSHIP
1. Worship builds up your faith, deepens your relationship with God (Romans 12:2), and strengthens your character.
2. God will strengthen your character and transform you into His image (2 Corinthians 3:18)

C. GOD’S PRESENCE IN WORSHIP
1. Worship draws us into the presence of God (Psalm 22:3)
2. Worship draws us into the presence of God where we experience comfort (James 4:8)
3. Worship draws us into the presence of to give us strength, and joy. (Psalm 16:11)

CONCLUSION: Worship is not just an event. It’s a powerful lifestyle that brings direction, spiritual growth, and the felt presence of God. Make worship a daily habit and watch God transform your life.

LIFE APPLICATION: When facing tough decisions in school, relationships, your future, spend time in worship. It aligns your heart with God’s will and helps you recognize His guidance. Make worship part of your routine singing, prayer, journaling, or reading the Bible. Over time, you will notice growth in patience, kindness, and understanding. When you feel anxious, lonely, or overwhelmed, take time to worship. God’s presence brings peace that nothing else can.

2. How have you seen spiritual growth in your own life through worship?
