SUNDAY SCHOOL HYMN
1. O Sunday School, on the Lord’s day,
O how I love Thee well,
I am happy, it makes me glad
To rejoice at Thy birth.

2. O Sunday School, on the Lord’s day,
Thy friendship suits me well,
Both young and old will sing Thy song,
We long for Sunday School.

3. O Sunday School, on the Lord’s day,
Christ was Thy first teacher,
The Holy Spirit, great teacher,
Does manifest in thee.

4. O Sunday School, on the Lord’s day,
This testimony is sure,
That God, the Father Almighty,
Poured His blessing on Thee

5. O Sunday School, on the Lord’s day,
Though the sun be so bright,
Or if the clouds be black with rain,
I’ll be in Sunday School.

6. O Sunday School, on the Lord’s day
I rejoice to see Thee,
Will thou pass over me today?
Without my being blest?

BIBLE TEXT: JOHN 14:27
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

JOHN 16:31-33
[31]Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?
[32]Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
[33]These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

MEMORY VERSE: John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

1. Jesus gives us His peace, which is different from the peace the world gives.
2. Worship calms our fears and troubles, and helps us trust in God’s sovereignty.
3. Worship reminds us of God’s presence with us, even in the midst of chaos.

B. BENEFITS OF WORSHIP
1. Worship helps us shift our focus from our problems to God’s presence and power. Psalm 100:4-5, Isaiah 26:3.
2. Worship brings us into God’s presence, where we can experience His peace and joy. Psalm 16:11, Psalm 95:6
3. Worship helps us surrender our worries and concerns to God, which brings us peace and strengthens our faith Philippians 4:6-7, 1 Peter 5:7.

SUMMARY: Worship is more than singing it’s a lifestyle. When we learn to worship God sincerely, we experience His peace that calms anxiety and His power that causes spiritual maturity. Jesus warns that trouble will come, but He has overcome the world. Through worship, we are reminded of this truth, and our faith is strengthened. Worship anchors us in God’s truth and love.

CONCLUSION: Worship is a powerful way to experience peace and spiritual growth. As we prioritize worship in our lives, we can find peace in the midst of chaos and grow in our faith. Remember, worship is not just about singing songs or attending church services – it’s about connecting with God and surrendering our lives to Him. As we close this study, remember that worship is a journey, not a destination. It’s a continuous process of seeking God, surrendering to Him, and experiencing His presence and power in our lives.
