TOPIC: Dreams Are Important

MEMORISE: For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. – Habakkuk 2:3

READ: Job 33:14-17
14. For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.

1. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;

2. Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,

3. That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.

RCCG Open Heaven For Teens 29 October 2021 Message

When a father wants to pass information across to his child, he calls for a discussion but if the child is unavailable physically, he uses other means. God our Father instructs, inspires and corrects us through different means. He can choose to speak to our hearts or through a passage of the Bible.

However, sometimes, He communicates through visions and dreams as He did with Joseph. Dreams occur in when we are asleep. Joseph had dreams that gave a hint of his future. However, the events that followed the dreams were far from its fulfilment.

Probably, while he was in prison, he would have questioned the dream. He would have thought the dream would not come to pass.However, at the right time his dream came to pass. Do you have dreams of a great future and your reality doesn’t look like it? Don’t be worried. As you keep following the Lord, He will preserve your dreams and ensure they become actualized in His time.

KEY POINT: Have a ‘dream journal’ to record your good dreams and pray against any bad one.
