PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Heavenly Father,
Today, I come before You with gratitude in my heart and a desire to be renewed in joy. Your Word reminds me that a cheerful heart brings healing—not only to my soul but to those around me. Let laughter lighten my burdens and Your peace guard my thoughts.
Help me to release the weight of worry and to lean into the lightness of Your love. Restore my spirit where it has grown weary. Replace heaviness with hope, sorrow with song, and discouragement with delight.
Fill my heart with the joy that only comes from You—not from circumstance, but from the deep assurance that You are with me and for me. When life feels heavy, teach me to smile with faith, to laugh with grace, and to speak words that lift and build.
Let my joy be a testimony to Your goodness, a light in the darkness, and a source of comfort to those who are hurting. Help me to carry a cheerful heart not only for myself, but as a gift I give to the world.
When negativity tries to take root, remind me of the power of praise. When discouragement creeps in, stir up gratitude in my soul. And when others feel crushed in spirit, use me to bring encouragement, warmth, and healing.
Thank You, Lord, that Your joy is my strength. Let it overflow in every thought, every word, and every action today.
