PRAYER OF THE DAY (EASTER SUNDAY)
Risen Lord Jesus,
Today we rejoice in the miracle that changed everything—You are alive! The grave could not hold You, and darkness could not defeat You. You rose, just as You promised, and in Your rising, You gave us a hope that will never die.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the victory of this day. Thank You that the tomb is empty and our hearts can be full—full of Your peace, Your promise, and Your presence. The stone has been rolled away not just from the tomb, but from our fears, our doubts, and our shame.
Let the power of the resurrection awaken us to new life. May we rise with You—above worry, above sin, above everything that tries to keep us bound. Help us to walk boldly in the freedom You’ve won, with joy in our hearts and purpose in our steps.
Lord, fill our homes with celebration, our relationships with grace, and our lives with resurrection light. As we remember the angels’ words, “He is not here; He has risen,” let those words echo in our souls every single day.
Help us to share this good news, not just in word but in how we love, serve, and shine in this world. May others see the living Christ through us.
Thank You, Jesus, for defeating death. Thank You for the empty tomb that fills us with eternal hope.
We worship You, we honor You, and we proclaim—He is risen indeed!
