Prayer for Today April 10, 2025:
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for this new day—a Thursday filled with fresh grace and opportunities to grow. As I reflect on the words of Proverbs 30, I’m reminded of the delicate balance between wisdom and foolishness, strength and humility, pride and peace.
Lord, help me to walk wisely today.
Let me learn from the lowly ant, the small yet resourceful creatures of Your creation. Teach me to be diligent, to prepare with foresight, and to walk in quiet strength.
Guard my heart from arrogance. Let me not exalt myself or act in pride, for I know it leads only to conflict and downfall.
Make me steady and courageous like the lion, unwavering in purpose but gentle in spirit. Let me carry myself with grace, not in self-importance but in the confidence that comes from knowing I belong to You.
Help me to keep my mouth from stirring strife. When anger rises, still my soul. Let Your Spirit guide me to respond in love, in patience, in wisdom.
Thank You, Lord, for Your Word that reveals truth, even in the simplest observations of life. May I honor You today in thought, word, and action.
