Today I walk my road, unaware of how near You are to interrupt my routine with glory.
Like Saul on the way to Damascus, I confess—
there are things in me that walk in the wrong direction.
Not always in rebellion, sometimes in ignorance,
sometimes in zeal without wisdom,
but still—away from Your heart.
Let today be my Damascus.
Flash Your light into my habits, my choices, my assumptions.
If I must fall, let it be at Your feet.
If I must hear correction, let it come with Your voice.
Say my name—not in anger, but in love bold enough to confront me.
Ask me the hard question:
“Why do you live as though I am not near?”
“Why do you fight what I am trying to form in you?”
Lord, I don’t want to be the same after this day.
Interrupt me. Blind me to old ways if You must,
so that I may finally see what truly matters.
I pray, not for comfort,
but for collision—
the kind that turns enemies into apostles,
doubt into purpose,
darkness into day.
In the name of the One who meets us on the road,
Jesus Christ,
Amen.
