Prayer for Today: “Clothed in Your Strength”
Heavenly Father,
Today I come before You, not in fear, but in quiet trust.
As I step into the hours ahead, clothe me in Your strength.
Let truth guide my words and thoughts—
Truth that is steady, honest, and kind.
Wrap my heart in righteousness,
So that I may choose what is right even when it’s hard,
And treat others with grace, not judgment.
Make me ready to carry peace,
Wherever I go—
In my home, at work, or among strangers.
Shield me with faith, Lord,
So that when doubt or discouragement come,
I can remember who You are and what You’ve promised.
Protect my mind with the hope of salvation—
Let me not be overcome by fear,
But stay grounded in the joy of knowing I belong to You.
Place Your Word in my heart like a sword—
Not to wound, but to strengthen—
To remind me of truth when the world speaks otherwise.
Thank You for walking with me.
Help me to stand—not in my own power,
But in the peace, protection, and purpose
That come from being Yours.
