TOPIC: Financial Wisdom
MEMORISE
The wise have wealth and luxury, but fools spend whatever they get (NLT).
Proverbs 21:20
READ: Proverbs 21:5
The plans of the diligent lead to profit
as surely as haste leads to poverty.

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Honouring God is very important, and His children can honour Him through the decisions they make every day, including financial decisions. When the prodigal son requested his inheritance from his father and squandered it on frivolities, he dishonoured his father in the process because he had wasted his father’s hardearned money. The Bible says silver and gold belong to God; this means that God owns your resources, and you should honour Him through your financial decisions.
Possessing financial intelligence is crucial as you move through life. Just as God calls His children to be good stewards of their talents, He also desires them to manage their finances wisely so that they can make wise choices, avoid debt, and give generously.
To be financially wise or intelligent, you need to budget, save, and make informed decisions about your monthly income, cash gifts, or business ventures. Learning to be financially wise now will save you from financial issues when you grow older.
REFLECTION
Are you honouring God through your financial decisions?
