Open Heaven for Teens 5 March 2022 MESSAGE
One of the things that God told us two years ago was not to fear. Thus, in spite of the pandemic and uncertainties, we were not afraid because we had confidence in God who had told us not to fear. The fear of the Coronavirus that ravaged the world brought torment in the form of high blood pressure, to many. In fact, many died as a result.
A true child of God should not be afraid of anything. What do you fear? Some young people have the fear of failure, death, poverty etcetera, instead of trusting God while taking necessary actions. Fear has even been modernized and its now called phobia. However, theres good news: all fears are learned and can be unlearned. Whatever you fear is also afraid of you but you wont overcome it unless you determine to and ask for help from the Holy Spirit.
Today’s Bible reading explains that you dont have any business with fear. Once you hand over your life to God, He will take care of you. As you keep trusting in Him, you will outgrow fear and it will give way to faith.
Action Point:Â Father, please take away the spirit of fear and give me that of boldness and power.
