2 Timothy 2:19-22
From today’s memory verse, we see that the work in God’s kingdom is much, while the labourers to execute it are few. This shows that although millions of potential vessels are available to fulfil God’s mandate of soul-winning, only a few are qualified. The vessel God would use must meet the condition of holiness. He or she must be honourable, dedicated, and available to God.
Anytime I see a young person handling God’s work without seriousness, I wonder if the fellow understands the nature of the service God is calling him or her to. Are you a worker in your church or school fellowship, and you’re hardly ever in church or often absent from departmental meetings? Then, you are only occupying space because, by the time God raises other vessels, you will become irrelevant. May this not be your portion, in Jesus’ name.
Many people say that they are available for God to use, but only those who purge themselves of filthy habits and attitudes will become His vessels unto honour
PRAYER POINT
Father, please purify me and make me fit for Your use.
