Open Heaven for Teens | 20th January 2022 MESSAGE

Many a time, God reveals things to His children in their sleep but the onus is on them to wake and pray about such revelations. From our Bible passage for today, king Pharaoh had a dream he could not understand. He could have ignored it, but if he had, the dream would still have become a reality and his people and nations around him would probably have gone into extinction.

My child, you need to understand that, while God speaks to His children through dreams, the devil can also manipulate them. However, no dream should be taken for granted, especially when you are sure of its source. A lot of lives and destinies have been destroyed through this. Note that everything you see in your dream is a prophecy that is awaiting manifestation and you can either allow or disallow it. Thus, when you wake from a good dream, pray it into manifestation and if it is a bad dream, don’t keep silent. Pray fervently and cancel it. If you don’t understand it, seek a godly counsellor or ask the Holy Spirit for its interpretation. I’m sure He will give you understanding.

You should note also that forgetfulness is a tool the enemy uses against the children of God. Never forget your dreams; act on them immediately. The counsel of the wicked will not stand in your life, in Jesus’ name.

KEY POINT:
PRAY!!!

HYMN 7: O GOD, OUR HELP IN AGES PAST
1.O God, our help in ages past
Our hope for years to come
Our shelter from the stormy blast
And our eternal home.

2.Under the shadow of Thy throne
Thy saints have dwelt secure
Sufficient is Thine arm alone
And our defence is sure.

3.Before the hills in order stood
Or earth received her frame
From everlasting Thou art God
To endless years the same.

4.A thousand ages in Thy sight
Are like an evening gone
Short as he watch that ends the night
Before the rising sun.

5.Time, like an ever-rolling stream
Bears all its sons away
They fly forgotten, as a dream
Dies at the opening day.

6.O God, our help in ages past
Our hope in years to come
Be thou our guard while trouble last
And our Eternal home.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Matthew 14:22-36; Genesis 46-48
