Open Heaven for Teens 1st March 2024 TOPIC: The Most Important Thing

[40]But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
[41]And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:
[42]But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
Open Heaven for Teens 1 March 2024 MESSAGE:
Many young people are preoccupied with getting better grades, having more money, being more likeable, attractive, trendy, et cetera. While it is not sinful to have these things, they are, however, not enough to make you ‘complete. Your greatest pursuit in life should be to know God’s word and live by it so that it will build your life and influence your character.
In Luke 10, when Jesus visited Mary and Martha in their home, Martha thought to give Him a treat, so she hurried into the kitchen to fix Him a meal. Mary, however, thought that the Master’s presence in their house was an opportunity of a lifetime to get her enriched, so she sat at Jesus’ feet and listened to Him with rapt attention. Martha then complained that Mary had left her to do the chores all by herself, but Jesus commended Mary’s faith and passion for the word. He noted that Mary gave attention to what was most important while Martha had her priorities wrong.
My dear, nothing is as important as the word.

Go for the word, in it is everything you need to succeed in life.
