Open Heaven for Teens 15th February 2022 MESSAGE:
A Yoruba adage says Its another mans job that a lazy fellow does judiciously”. I find
this hilarious because ordinarily, a lazy fellow cannot do anything judiciously; whatever he does will be done carelessly. Your identity as a child of God should put a consciousness in you to be responsible both at home and outside it.
Your parents and siblings are the first people you should be accountable to as a way of appreciation for their love, care and continued financial support. Thus, it is important to honour your parents by helping out in their legitimate businesses, ministries, doing chores and running errands for them.
Copy Jesus who was first known in His neighbourhood as the son of the carpenter because He contributed time and effort into His father’s business and got a good reputation in it. Thus, when He started His spiritual assignment, they were surprised but couldn’t doubt His genuineness as a good son.
