The Mystery of Divine Preservation

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Psalm 55-57
TEXT: He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Psalm 91:4
Who told you, you will suffer the same fate as others because you dwell in that community? Who told you, you will not graduate from that institution? Who told you, you will not return from that Journey? Who has threatened your peace or the peace of members of your household? Hear me child of God, it shall not stand; neither shall it come to pass! Who is he that saith a thing and it cometh to pass when the Lord commanded it not? I decree the counsel of Heaven over your life, you are divinely preserved! Your family, business and endeavors preserved!
If you know the heavenly security over your life, you will not panic over the threats of the devil. God is not only concern in preserving you but also concern in preserving all that concerns you. Take a look at the case of Abraham, God’s servant. God was fully set to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, but He did not got ahead with the destruction without preserving Lot, Abraham’s Nephew. God remembered Abraham and preserving Lot and his household. See how the Bible puts it, “And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.” Genesis 19 :29:
In spite of God’s urgency in destroying the cities, God gave audience to Abraham patiently waiting for him to appeal for the souls of the righteous in case there were some in the cities. Have you not considered that if God could spare all the multitude of the wicked in any city if He sees ten righteous people as he told Abraham, what of you, the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus?
You are so special to God, hence He has insured you and all your interest. When others are panicking, stand firm on God’s divine preservation that is effectively working for you..
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! Thank you for your commitment to preserving me and all my interest..
