BIBLE READING: 2 Kings 1-4
TEXT: “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over…” Genesis 1 :28.
God has given every child of His talents and gifts with which to multiply and become prosperous on the earth.
But due to ignorance some have not discovered their talents, some limit their talents not daring to use them, so do not multiply them, others refuse to develop theirs, while some do not trade their talent hence no financial returns come to them.
Our anchor text does not only refer to the fruit of the womb, but is a command to multiply in every aspect of life. To be gifted and be stranded is an abuse to Redemption.
There is something God has put in you that ought to come out and produce bountiful harvest.
If God says you are the light of the world, there are talents or a talent he has given you to promote the kingdom of God out there and draw men to the faith.
To idle about and become a liability is to be a misfit in the body of Christ.
The church is a place for kingdom service; the world is waiting for that unique thing in you to glorify your God.
When Pharaoh saw what was in Joseph, he acknowledged of a truth that there is another spirit in him and set him on high. That is being the light of the world indeed!
Also, in a strange land, the gifting of God stood out Daniel, and his wife three friends, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.
If therefore you will multiply exceeding as God desires of his children, you must walk before God and be thou perfect Gen. 17 :1 – 2.
Sin corrupts gifting and talents like the man with the one talent in Matthew 25.
Child of God, at the return of the Master, there is no excuse not to have multiplied the gift he gave you.
There is no excuse for beinq poor. There is a gift in you to multiply and bring returns to you.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I awake my consciousness to multiply in Jesus name.
