Make the Right Choice (6)

In our Christian walk, we walk by faith and not by sight (2 Cor. 5 :7). To focus your choice on the things you see and not on the leading of the Spirit is to end up making wrong choices in life. The devil is very subtle, as the god of this world, his system of operation is enticing people most especially with their sight influencing their senses and eventually their choices. He displayed this when he tempted Jesus in Matthew chapter 4, showing and saying things to him, but Jesus grounded in the knowledge of scripture with an understanding of his subtility defeated him.
To make right choices in life you must be ready to pay the price for it, denying the flesh its pleasure by obeying strictly the voice of the Spirit. Most times, the right choice is not popular choice because of the system of the world and may cause you temporal discomfort of various magnitude and forms, but surely it will definitely lead to your glory. Scripture says in 2 Corinthians 4 :17; “for our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory”.
Be ready to stand for what you believe in the faith making choices in line with it no matter the prices you have to pay.
To secure your destiny, there is a price per-time. Immediate pleasure will war against ultimate goal, don’t trade or compromise your destiny or birthright for bread and red pottage as Esau (Gen. 27). Whatever the devil presents to you, there are treasures of eternal value he is collecting in exchange for it.
This same Esau who despised his birthright just to enjoy pottage wept for it in Genesis 27 :34 when the reality done on him. What he would have cheaply stepped into by making the right chose, he had to struggle for it, vs 40.
I pray for you, you will not be deceived.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray now, I will not fall for the tricks of the devil anymore.
