Be Grateful for Life

BIBLE READING:Â Joshua 13-16
TEXT: “Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies.” – Psalms 103 :4.
Glory Halelluyah! It’s the twelveth month of the year 2021! Today, we are going to take time to appreciate God for the gift of life. Therefore, let go of every other need and thank Him for counting you worthy to be among the living. Thank Him for your life and those of all your loved ones. Thank him because it takes a living man to aspire for greater things. It takes a living there is hooe: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.” Eccl. 9 :4.
Life is multiplied unto whoever appreciates the giver of it who is the Almighty God. When you understand that you your efforts didn’t bring you this far, that it is by the grace of God, you will give God thanks and your speech will always show it, not like the rich fool in Luke 12 :16 – 20; whose speech was all about himself without reference to God and that night God took his soul to make him know that He is God the owner of life and the preserver of it.
For your going out and coming in, give God the glory. For your sleeping and waking up, let Him hear your thanks from a grateful heart. The Psalmist declared, “I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.” Psalms 3 :5.
He didn’t take it for granted. He understood that God is behind that miracle because when one is asleep, he is not conscious of what goes on while he sleeps and what also makes him to wakes up. Only the mighty hand of God is in charge of that, hence He ought to be praised each time that happens because only the living can praise God.
I pray for you, may the right attitude of over praising God makes you keep enjoying life.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! I thank you for the gift of life.
