Omega Fire Ministries Devotional 26th January 2021 (OFM Rhema for Living Daily Devotional) Message By Apostle Johnson Suleman
TOPIC: Major Secret (2)
SCRIPTURE: John 4-6
TEXT: It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High. – Psalm 92:1.
In the world, it is survival of the fittest, but in the kingdom, it is survival of the obedient. “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land” (Isaiah 1:19).
Thanksgiving is a major requirement to an ever-increasing and multiplying life. Anytime you complain, you complicate things but if you can give thanks, solutions will come.
The walls of Jericho did not fall down flat by their effort, it fell down by hearkening to the instruction of the Lord.
There is a command from God to give thanks to Him in everything, it is His will for you, it is not subject to your reasoning, but when you do, you would keep having more reason to thank Him for.
When a command came for Israelites to give God thanks and praise to God in the face of a terrible battle before them, I am quite certain they must have been surprised. Four nations ganged up against them, yet God said, you do not need to fight in this battle, just advance in bat tle and singing praises and giving me thanks and I will take over. As they obeyed, God fought their battle, the enemies became enemies to themselves and terminated themselves.
The Israelites only came to collect the spoils. (2 Chron. 20 :16-25).
Thanksgiving is a weapon of warfare. It is the greatest prayer of faith.
With it, you can unlock any door, that job, that husband or wife, that business, that ministry of yours is like the two loaves of bread and five fishes, give thanks for them as Jesus did and see God’s hand on them.
PRAYER.
My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, let the spirit of thanksgiving possess me, in Jesus name..
