TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Psalm 34-36
TEXT: And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. Luke 4 :17-18.
You cannot talk about the anointing without talking about the book. The reason you are where you are and it appears things are not working is because you have not found the book. The book was delivered to Jesus and He opened it and found where it was written. There is something written about you; if you don’t find it, you cannot enjoy life. There is something written about your marriage, if you don’t find it, you cannot enjoy matrimony.
You cannot talk about the anointing without talking about the Holy Ghost. “How God anointing Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Acts 10 :38.
When the Holy Ghost is present, power is available. That is why I know that any yoke troubling your life shall be destroyed by reason of the anointing. Scripture says, ” And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” Isa. 10 :27. “… When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.” Isaiah 59:19.
As you settle down with the book, you shall find that which is written about you and provoke the anointing in your life. And as you pray, you shall be filled with the Holy Ghost and trigger the release of the anointing. Acts 2:1-4; Acts 4:31.
I pray for you, you shall be a carrier of the anointing.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, the anointing of the Holy Ghost rest on me and set me free.
