Give God the Glory

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:Â Zechariah 7 – 8
TEXT: “And now, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the LORD spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old.” Joshua 14 :10.
MESSAGE: So many believers have gone into the oblivion simply because they have failed to give God the glory. Every doing that is marvelous in our sight is always traceable to the Lord; and not to give him the credit or glory is to soon expire. God is set and out to do great and even greater things for us, if only we can learn to always give Him the glory that is due Him.
What God requires from man is ceaseless flow of glory and honour to His name. Caleb understood this and gave God glory in our anchor text for length of days, His lifestyle of honouring God prolonged his life for he was a man with another spirit unlike the other Israelites.
When you thank Him for what He has done, he’ll do more. Nothing in life provokes the manifestation of God’s mighty hand like a continuous rendering of praise unto His name. For all good things that come your way, always give Him the glory for He’s the doer of them for “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” James 1 :17.
If therefore you want more of His acts, ascribe the glory to Him as the doer of those good things in your life.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, empower me to always give glory unto your name.
