Awake to Scriptures

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 46-47
TEXT: “Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.” – Matthew 22 :29.

Believers are good at listing prayer requests and even good at screaming out prayers on these requests but many are without a sound knowledge of scriptures on them. No wonder many prayers do not get speedy answers while some do not receive answers at all because of bankruptcy of the Word of God.
What facilitates answers to prayer is the word of God. The word of God is the basis of your request, it is the basis of your declarations. You declare and make decrees based on the word of God. That is why scripture says, “Put me in remembrance: let us plead together:declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.” (Isa. 43 :26).
So it is not enough to start praying, you must of necessity have underlining scriptures on those prayers which is what gives you a voice and boost your confidence.
You pray to the Father on the knowledge of His Word and you issue decrees downwards based also on His word as Job 22 :28; says, “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee…” In other words, no word of God; no acceptable decree, and no decree, then no answers or establishment of them. Hosea 14 :2; says, “Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him…” Every prayer request has sufficient words to take to the Lord which will command divine attention and facilitate answers, because God cannot deny Himself, for He is His Word. And where the Word of God is, there is power. His Word is the vehicle of His power.
Child of God, it is time to awake to scripture and come into the realm of Isaiah 65 :24; (KJV) And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I hear.
You have denied yourself this great privilege by not knowing scriptures nor the power of God.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I awake to scriptures.
