Companion of Fools

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 28-30
TEXT: He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. Proverbs 13:20.
It pains my heart to see a a child of the Almighty God with the spirit of God inside of him decide to make himself become a fool by reason of those he associates with. How can a full flesh able bodied young man decide to make friend with an internet fraudster who have lost purpose and not become a fool? There is an adage that says, “Show me your friend and I will tell you who you are”.
Scripture calls them companion of fools, even if you are yet to do what they do. You see a girl from a responsible home because she got admission in higher institution of learning, suddenly begin to dress anyhow almost naked because she chose to make friends with the Delilah(s), and Jezebels there ignoring the Esther(s), Deborah(s) and Sarah(s) in the making. Some begin a life of competition going to any length to buy wears which their parents and then cannot afford because of the friends they keep, and they may think they are happening but the Bible calls them fools who are heading for destruction.
There is a counsel from God which the children of God are to ahead to, and it is to walk with the wise and be wise. The wise are those following the counsel of the Lord in the word of God. They are not necessarily those who are in the same church as you or in scriptures.
So be wise and disconnect yourself from the companion of fools.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I refuse to be destroyed. In any way I am walking with companion of fools, I disconnect myself by fire.
