Be Planted!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Obadiah 1
TEXT: Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.” Psalms 92 :13.
Christian maturity requires your being planted in the house of God, your being rooted in the service of God in a local assembly, not being unstable moving from place to place, tossed about by every wind of doctrine and events.
When you give your life to Jesus and you have an assurance in your Spirit or a revelation from God that you are in the place of worship where your destiny is being nourished to His glory, then you are to get planted in the service of God there. God requires your being planted wherever He has called you to be worshipping Him.
That speaks of the Volume of your love and trust in Him. It shows that no matter what happens, you still carry on in service in His house because you love Him seek to know him longing for a continual fellowship with Him. Those planted delight in His presence. David said, “I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD”. Psalms 122 :1.
And in Psalms 84 :10; he said, “For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.”
God seeks those who are planted in His house to showcase His faithfulness in their lives. He has great blessing in stock for them and one of them is that they shall flourish in the courts of our God. Meaning they shall grow well both spiritually and physically, extremely healthy and happy.
They shall develop quickly and be successful. Also they shall still bring forth fruit in old age, and shall be fat and flourishing (Psa. 92 :13 – 14). Meaning age is not a barrier to their productivity, God renews their strength refreshing them.
Child of God, this is a call for you to get planted in the house of the Lord. Just coming to church is not enough.
Get planted and let your life reveal God’s righteousness. The time is now.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, help me Lord to be planted in your house.
