Slothfulness And Poverty

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 10-12
TEXT: Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man. Proverbs 24 :33 – 34.
Several believers cast out poverty but they are lazy, not diligent in what they do, while some are completely idle praying in money from the four corners of the earth into their pockets and bank accounts. No matter what is preached to them, they have made up their minds to see the concept of work from a wrong perceptive, despite the wish of the father to release abundance unto them through the works of their hands.
Whoever accommodates slothfulness is gradually on his way to poverty no matter what is at his disposal presently. Poverty and slothfulness are companies, they are inseparable twin. That is why no one should envy a lazy man or woman no matter the wealth they command because it is bound to depreciate in value especially when it is laziness of the mind and hand.
Child of God, what is your work? Do you do it diligently or anyhow just to put food on your table? When do you arrive in your place of work? How do you leave, is it anyhow or accordingly to the stipulated time? Listen, there is a reward for diligence, so also consequence for slothfulness which is lawful poverty. The reward may not be immediate or in the direct place of your input but God is sure to reward you and when that time comes, no man can resist it. Rather they will be compelled to favour you.
I enjoin you to disconnect slothfulness from you and drive away poverty.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I pray now, in any way I am lazy, Oh Lord, deliver me.
