Choose to Love

Omega Fire Devotional 19th July 2021 Message
In this world of hatred and gross wickedness which has crept into the church, brethren blacklisting brethren, cooking up blatant lies against them, believers plotting the downfall of other believers, many rewarding good with evil, child of God, still choose to love.
When you choose to love, you have chosen to be above them all because love is the greatest. When you choose to love, you have chosen God because God is love (1 John 1 :7), when you choose to love, you have chosen to live and express your divine nature of love allowing the Holy Ghost to shed abroad the love of God in your heart (Rom. 5 :5).
When you choose to love, you are living as the disciple of Christ, a true ambassador of the kingdom of God because the distinguishing factor between the disciples of Jesus and the world is love. Scripture says, “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” John 13 :35
Nothing counts in the kingdom without love. No matter the gifts of a man, without love, they amount to nothing. That was why when Jesus was asked which is the great commandment, His response on the first and the second was centred on love. “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets”. Matt. 22 :36 – 40.
Child of God, when you chose to operate in the love of God, you become indestructible because no volume of water or flood can drown love. God Himself inhabits a man walking in love, He fights for him and defends him.
I pray for you, may nothing make you trade your divine nature of love.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I Make a choice to love, in Jesus name
