Jesus the Healer (2)

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Ezekiel 13-14
TEXT: “Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.” Jeremiah 17 :14.

Enjoying divine health is a product of knowledge. From our anchor text, you will know that the speaker had understanding of the truth that Jesus is the healer and he placed a demand also knowing that when Jesus the healer heals that healing is permanent, and when he also saves, it is established. Furthermore, the speaker stood on the platform of the word of God which says in Isaiah 41 :21; “Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob.” and he gave the reason saying, “for thou art my praise”.
Child of God, worshippers and praises enjoy divine health from God. The only thing God cannot do for Himself is to praise and worship Himself. God created all things for His pleasure to give glory to Him. Hence Revelation 4 :11; says, “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” It is God’s pleasure to be worshipped and praised. It was with that understanding that Hezekiah changed the initial verdict of death on him to additional fifteen years of life. He turned his face towards the wall and prayed to God stating the reasons why he should not die. Isa. 38 :1 – 5.
Scripture says in Psalms 150:6, “Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.” Meaning the reason you were created and having life is to praise God. If you want to keep being alive having breath full of sound health, praise ye the LORD.
I pray God gives you understanding.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! I praise you for you are my God and my healer.
