Your Case is Different

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Jeremiah 5-6
TEXT: “But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the Lord doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.” – Exodus 11 :7.
Child of God, we live in a world of wickedness that if you do not understand your difference in Christ Jesus, you may end up like others. As a covenant child, there is a divine covering over your life which exempts you from what others go through. By His blood, Christ bought you out of that world where shame and disgrace is the order of the day, where sickness and diseases have a hold on people, where evil and all forms of wickedness are celebrated. You have the marks of Christ in you (Gal. 6 :17) forbidding evil from coming near you, with His blood speaking better things for you. That is why you must understand your difference and live it in words and in action despite what is prevalent around you.
In the preceding verse to our anchor text, scripture says there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, yet for the children of Israel in verse 7, there was an exemption from that common experience because their case was different. Scripture so emphasized their difference that in the midst of massive death among the Egyptians and their cry, that not even a dog is permitted to move its tongue against man or beast of the Israelites. What an amazing difference God placed between them and others! And that is the same difference placed between you and others.
So, permit no dog to move its tongue against your life and all your interest. Permit no evil whatsoever to come near your dwelling by being ignorant of your difference. And incase tongue arises, it is the heritage of the servants of the Lord to condemn every tongue risen against them in judgment. Isa. 54 :17.
Therefore arise with this sound mentality that your case is different.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I decree and declare my case is different.
