Secret Place of the Most High

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Song of Solomon 1-3
TEXT: “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” – Psalms 91 :1.
Moses dwelt in the secret place of the Most High for forty days that a veil had to be used to cover his face because of the glory that shone on his face.
The secret place is not for everybody. “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” Jeremiah 33 :3.
In the secret place of the most High, things that are hidden are made known. In the secret place of the Most High, sins are forgiven. “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Isaiah 1 :18.
In the secret place of the Most High, situations are turned around. Like Hannah, she got her Samuel in the secret place of the Most High. Hezekiah defeated king Senacherib without fighting because he dwells in the secret place of the Most High, Hezekiah’s life was extended for 15 years after a prophesy because of the secret place of the Most High, what about Daniel, Esther…?
Child of God, are you dwelling in the secret place of the Most High or do you visit there? Gehazi with the rod of Elisha could not raise the Shunamite woman’s son as instructed by Elisha because he was not dwelling in the secret place of the Most High. Jesus said in John 4 :23; “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship him.” God is looking for true worshippers, those that dwell in the secret place of the most High; He is seeking for them.
Therefore, those things that are distracting you from dwelling in his presence are actually gotten in the secret place. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6 :33.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I receive grace to always dwell in your secret place.
