DAILY BIBLE READING: Genesis 4-6
TEXT: “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43 :18-19.
Rhema For Living 2nd January 2023 OFM MESSAGE
There are so many new experiences of divine blessings lined up by God for His people to shoot them higher in destiny. Every year unfolds a higher and greater portions as He ordained the path of the just (Prov. 4 :18).
This year 2023 has its own packages of new things in Christ which cuts across every aspect of life.
God’s counsel for you this day is to let go of every experience you may have gone through or still going through and see the new things He has in stock for you to spring forth in your life.
Although the wrong circumstances intend to blind the righteous from beholding the new things God has prepared for him, but it is the responsibility of the righteous to shake them off and awake to the present move of divinity by beholding the new things that God has planned for him.
To behold the new things, you must of necessity be in the Spirit. The carnal man minds carnal things because his will has been supposed by the flesh, which is why he cannot sense the things of the Spirit.
Only a man that is sensitive in the spirit can behold the things God has packaged for him through the help of the Holy Spirit. 1 Cor. 2 :9 – 10.
For it is not by might, nor by power but by the Spirit saith the LORD of hosts. Zech. 4 :6. To be in the Spirit, you must embrace the things of the Spirit such as praying, fasting, studying of God’s word etc.
The year has just began, continually stay in His presence, that you would see the manifestation of God’s word like never before.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I shake off old experiences and awake to the new things you have prepared for me.
