TEXT: “And David said to Saul, let no man’s heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine. And Saul said to David, thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou are but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.” – 1 Sam. 17 :32 – 33.

Another winning key for warring successfully is – “Ignore the previous history of the opposition against you”. It does not matter how thy had defeated others in the past, your case is different.
In the passage of our text, Saul told David the resume of Goliath, a warrior from his youth, but David ignored it and gave him his own resume – about his victory in the past over the lion and the bear that came after the flock in his care and also declared the future that he would defeat Goliath; which is more important than the past.
If David had dwelt on the previous history of Goliath, it would have affected his perception of Goliath.
Child of God, ignore the history of that affliction; it may have killed others in the past, but not you, history of how many sat for that exam and failed, your case is different; you are coming out victorious for “Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world” (1 John 4 :4).
You are not ordinary, in you lies great power to bring down that opposition, stir it up with the right knowledge of the word and stone down that adversary with the right words; the word of God and the testimonies of victories.
I see your victory already in Jesus Name.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I arise and advance in battle. No more defeat in my life.
