Night Prayer – May 29th, 2025 – Thursday Night Prayers
“What are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain!” — Zechariah 4:7 (ESV)
Night Prayer — Inspired by Zechariah 4:7
Heavenly Father,
As this day comes to a close, I lay before You every burden, every obstacle, and every fear.
You are the God who levels mountains and makes a way where there seems to be none.
Just as You spoke through Zechariah and declared that great mountains would become plains before Zerubbabel,
I trust that no challenge I face is greater than Your power.
You are my strength when I am weak,
my peace when the world is loud,
my light even in the darkest night.
Tonight, I release my striving and surrender to Your Spirit,
for it is not by might, nor by power,
but by Your Spirit that mountains move and victories come.
Let me rest in the confidence that You are already at work,
smoothing the rough places ahead of me and preparing my path.
Give me peace, give me sleep, and awaken me with renewed faith in Your promises.
In the name of Jesus,
