Night Prayer – May 14, 2025 – Wednesday – Resting in God’s Peace
Heavenly Father,
As the night wraps around me and the world grows quiet, I turn my heart toward You. The noise of the day fades, but Your presence remains constant. In the stillness, I remember Your promise in Psalm 4:8—that I can lie down and sleep in peace, because You alone make me dwell in safety. You are my refuge, my fortress, and the keeper of my soul.
Lord of Peace,
Thank You for walking with me through this day—through every high and low, every success and failure. If I have carried burdens too heavy, I lay them down at Your feet tonight. If I’ve spoken carelessly or acted in weakness, I ask for Your mercy and grace. Let this be a time of release and renewal, not just for my body, but for my heart and mind.

Faithful Protector,
While I sleep, I trust that You are still at work. You neither slumber nor sleep. You watch over me with a love that never grows weary. Surround my home with Your angels. Guard my thoughts from fear and my dreams from trouble. Let Your peace, like a gentle river, flow through my spirit and calm every anxious place within me.
Loving Father,
As I close my eyes, I choose to remember Your goodness. You’ve provided, sustained, and guided me. Even if the day held struggles, I know You were with me in each moment. I rest not because everything is perfect, but because I know You are in control. Let Your sovereignty be the pillow under my head and Your promises the blanket around my soul.
Holy Spirit,
Speak to me even as I sleep. Whisper truth into the quiet places of my heart. Minister to my spirit with dreams filled with hope, vision, and peace. If I wake in the night, may I wake to the sound of Your voice. Let every breath I take through the night be an act of trust in Your care.
Jesus, my Savior,
Thank You for being near. Thank You for carrying what I can’t. I give You my rest as an offering of faith, trusting that tomorrow is already held in Your hands. Teach me to rise in the morning with fresh mercy and renewed strength, ready to walk again with You.
In Your precious name I pray, Lord,
Amen.
