Night Prayer – A Heart of Repentance and Rest
Gracious Father, as I come before You tonight, I thank You for carrying me through this day. You have been my protector, my provider, and my source of strength. Lord, before I rest, I lay my heart before You in humility and repentance. Have mercy on me, O God, and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I acknowledge my shortcomings and ask for Your forgiveness.
If I have spoken words that were unkind, acted in ways that did not reflect Your love, or allowed negative thoughts to cloud my mind, I pray that You will wash me clean. Let Your mercy cover me, and may the burdens of sin be lifted from my soul. Thank You for Your grace, which never fails and for the assurance that in You, I find redemption.
Tonight, I pray for a heart that is continually transformed by Your presence. Remove anything in me that does not align with Your will. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. May I wake up tomorrow with a deeper desire to walk in holiness and truth.
As I lay down to sleep, I entrust my worries and concerns to You. I choose to rest in Your promises, knowing that You watch over me. Lord, let Your peace surround me like a shield, and may Your angels stand guard over my home. May my sleep be sweet and refreshing, free from anxiety or fear.
Thank You, Lord, for being my refuge and my salvation. I praise You for Your faithfulness, and I rest in the confidence that Your love will never fail me. Be glorified in my life, both now and forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
