Night Prayer – April 3, 2025 – Thursday Powerful Prayer for the Night
Focus Scripture: “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” – Matthew 11:29-30 (KJV)
NIGHT PRAYER:
Loving Father, as the night falls and the world grows quiet, I come before You seeking the rest that only You can give. Today may have been filled with challenges, worries, and burdens too heavy for me to carry alone. But You, Jesus, have invited me to take Your yoke upon me—to learn from You and to find true rest in Your presence.
I lay down every worry at Your feet tonight. I surrender my fears, my anxieties, and my struggles. Teach me, Lord, to walk in Your peace, to trust in Your perfect plan, and to embrace the gentle rhythm of Your grace. Your burden is light, and I choose to exchange my heaviness for the rest You freely offer.
Fill my heart with peace as I sleep. Let my soul be refreshed in Your love, and may I awaken with renewed strength to serve You. Watch over my loved ones, and let Your presence be a shield around us. Thank You for being my refuge, my comfort, and my source of true rest.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
