Night Prayer: “Resting in the Refuge of the King”
Heavenly Father,
As night falls and the world grows quiet, I come into Your presence with a heart that longs to rest in You.
You are the Sovereign King, seated in the heavens, ruling with wisdom, justice, and power. Nothing escapes Your sight, and no plan can overthrow Your will.

Though nations rage and people plot in vain, You remain unshaken. You laugh at rebellion and speak with authority. And still—You are merciful. You invite us to draw near, to bow in reverence, and to find refuge in Your Son.
Tonight, I lay down all resistance in my heart.
Where I’ve clung to control—release me.
Where I’ve spoken in pride—forgive me.
Where I’ve lived in fear—steady me.
Where I’ve doubted Your care—remind me of Your love.
Jesus, You are the Son whom the Father has installed as King—You are my refuge and my rest. I kiss the Son in surrender and love. I welcome Your lordship over my life, even in the hours I sleep.
Cover my dreams with Your peace.
Guard my home with Your angels.
Surround my loved ones with Your protection.
Quiet the noise of my mind and the weight of my heart. Let Your Word echo gently in my spirit as I drift into sleep.
Blessed are all who take refuge in You.
So here I am, Lord—resting under the shelter of Your wings, trusting that You hold both the night and the morning in Your hands.
In the powerful, peaceful name of Jesus,
