Gracious Father,
As I settle into the stillness of this night, I bring my heart before You—open, wounded, yet willing. Lord, I confess it is not always easy to love those who have hurt me, but tonight, I choose to walk in obedience to Your Word. I surrender every offense, every harsh word, and every betrayal. Help me to release the burden of bitterness and to embrace the freedom that comes from forgiveness.
Teach me to respond with grace and not vengeance. Let the light of Your mercy flood every corner of my heart, casting out hatred, fear, and resentment. Where there is pain, bring Your healing. Where there is anger, sow Your peace.
I forgive, Lord, because You have forgiven me. I love, because You first loved me. Strengthen me with Your Spirit to walk in this divine love even when it’s hard. Let my sleep tonight be filled with peace, knowing that I have released all into Your hands.
Cover me, my family, and all whom I’ve prayed for in Your divine protection and rest. May tomorrow bring a fresh opportunity to love like Christ.
