Lord, guard my tongue today. Remove harshness, negativity, complaining, and careless speech from my heart. Fill me instead with words of kindness, truth, patience, and encouragement.
Teach me to speak life in every situation. When I am frustrated, give me self-control. When others need encouragement, help me speak with compassion and wisdom. Let my words bring peace rather than division and hope rather than discouragement.
Purify my heart, because what flows from my mouth begins within me. Let my speech reflect the character of Christ and the work of Your Spirit in my life.
