MFM Today Devotional 27 March 2025 – MESSAGE
The plan of God right from the beginning is that nations must be submissive to Him if they desire to fulfil divine purpose which will confer greatness on them. It is, however, disheartening to see that many nations of the world have completely left God out of their national pursuits and interests. There are a lot of nations which have promulgated laws and decrees against the agenda of the Almighty God.
Many nations formerly known as Christian nations have totally turned against God. The churches which used to thrive in those nations in years past have become antiquities or have been sold off to be used for activities which are not God-glorifying. Mentioning some of the countries where this aberration has happened is not essential.
The pronouncement of God remains eternal – “Righteousness exalts a nation.” Those nations that think that they are prosperous without God will definitely regret their actions in the long run, when they come face to face with the God of the universe at the White Throne Judgement.
The Fire Scripture we read reveals to us the rebellious act of the Israelites who perfected the uncanny art of sinning against God. In their unrighteousness, they lost their glory, their honour, their dominion and became prey to other nations. They became an object of reproach because of their sinfulness. This pattern still exists today. Nations which have forsaken God are full of reproach irrespective of how prosperous they seem to be.
The reproach of sin comes in different dimensions such as social injustice, failed economy, malignant corruption, varied social vices, war and inter-tribal conflicts, sexual perversion, hunger, loss of peace, youth delinquency, broken homes, turbulent marriages, social disorder, etc.
Many nations are sinking into different levels of social, economic and moral decadence in this generation. The only way out of the doldrums is to embrace the righteousness which God has provided through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.

1. Blood of Jesus, flow into the nations of the world and destroy the power of iniquity, in the name of Jesus.
2. Every strong man ruling over my city, I pull you down, in the name of Jesus.
3. O Lord, arise and heal our nation, in the name of Jesus.

4. Every enemy of the Gospel, operating in my country, die, in the name of Jesus.
5. I lift the Banner of Jesus over this nation, in the name of Jesus.

7. Holy Spirit of God, raise agents of transformation in every nation, in the name of Jesus.
