TODAY’S MESSAGE
A man had problems. One night, he felt so sad that he went to bed, discouraged. As he slept, he had a dream in which he found himself in a market place. At the market place, he stumbled into a particular stall, with Mr. Devil written on it, and the devil was in fact there. The man said, “Mr Devil, so you too are selling things in this market? The devil said, “Yes.” He then began to look at his wares and saw items like hypertension, bad luck, cancer and all kinds of terrible things.

He looked through the items on safe and said to the devil, “Hello sir, what is the most expensive object in your stall? He pointed at “discouragement,” and told the man that that was the items that buyers who wanted to catch Christian boy, without minding its high price, He explained that when Christians are discouraged, their faith goes down and they will not be able to pray.

Then fear will move in. When that happens, worry will follow it and then, he the devil will move in believed discouragement is a powerful weapon of the devil. Most people fail to appreciate the fact that the Lord uses the method of patient wanting before He answers prayers. It is not that He does not know that you do not have problem; but He likes to test the reality of your desire. Some people fail under pressure, but when you refuse to be discouraged, which is your mark of true faith.

Is demonstrated. This was amply shown in the miracle cry of Bartimaeus act of violent faith. This was compensation by the relieving assurance of Jesus who said to him, “Thy faith has made you whole.” Jesus healed him because He was convinced that he sincerely believed and that he asked in faith. God honours faith which the appointed medium of through which blessings come to us.

When Jesus told Bartimaeus to come, he moved like thunder. He threw away his garment so that it would not hinder his movement and raced to Jesus.
Remember, in countries where the weathers’ that are cold, beggars used to put on lots of heavy clothing. So, Bartimaeus had lots of clothing’s to discard. He pulled all off and started to move. The result of this was that he got his eyes opened immediately and he started seeing.

You too can call upon Him, before He passes you by. And now, He is calling all men to repentance. Hold on to your faith today.
