TOPIC: Addressing Your Background
MEMORY VERSE: Genesis 26:12“Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.”
FIRE SCRIPTURE: Matt. 13:3-7; Jude 12
MESSAGE: To become an overcomer, you must learn how to address your background. Take a look at your ancestral past and address it seriously. The life of anyone who has been dedicated to an idol or who bears the name of an idol would be monitored by demon guards. Such powers will prevent good things from coming to him. They chase good things away.
Sometime ago, I told a certain lady to go for deliverance and she said: “What? I am born again. I am a child of God. I am sanctified and I have the Holy Spirit. I don’t need any deliverance.” So, I left her alone. Six months later, as I was going home from work one day, I noticed that somebody was calling me. I stopped and, behold, she was the one. I asked her what the matter. Tears would not let her talk. She was crying bitterly. I tried to calm her down and she began to tell me her story.
She said: “I did not pass the examination to enter this university. But, because the place is close to the water, giving the chance to initiate as many university students as possible, my mates got me admission into this university. When I got to the campus and found that they were worshipping the Lord Jesus Christ, I decided to join them. My mates came to me several times and warned me to stop attending the Christian fellowship or I would be disgraced. I told them it was a lie, in Jesus’ name.”
She would have been okay with that initial confession, if not for the fact that she had been originally dedicated to something else by her parents. The demons would have run away, if not for her dedication. They told her that since that, was the way she wanted go about it, she would see. The day she cried and came to me, she had gone to check her result and discovered that she failed everything, including the subjects in which every other person got an A, I said to her: “But I told you to go for deliverance and you refused.” This time, I did not need to preach any sermon before she agreed and went for deliverance. That was how she was able to pass and get out of the university.

MORNING
1. All my virtues swallowed by satanic birds, be vomited, in the name of Jesus.
2. Every monitoring bird of darkness fashioned against me, be disgraced, in the name of Jesus.
3. I shall destroy every company of satanic birds fashioned against me, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
1. Every witchcraft bird flying against my destiny, shall fly no more, in Jesus’ name.
2. Holy Ghost fire, burn away the memory of my life from the possession of every satanic bird, in the name of Jesus.
3. Every evil cry fashioned against my habitation at night, be silenced, in the name of Jesus.
4. O God, arise and let all my stubborn enemies scatter, in the name of Jesus.
