Today, we shall take a look at one of the practical solutions to nagging family problems. No matter what you are going through, God will employ the totality of His ability to fix what appears impossible in your life.
Perhaps, as you are reading today’s devotional study, you remember that some negative things that your parents have said to you are coming to pass if that is your case, you need to pray seriously to break the curses.
Some parents, when offended, tell their children that their own children too will do the same to them. And such a curse stands, if not prayerfully rejected. You have to pray like a hungry lion today to shake off such things off. In some families, they are liars, in some, they have skin diseases. In many others, everyone is dominated by an argumentative spirit.
The result is that the family member are always quarrelling and claiming to be right. In some, financial failure and other terrible trends are their problems. Remember the story of Gehazi. His parents liked him and put him in the School of Prophets.
Something in the background of Gehazi worked against him which earned him the curse of leprosy and unfortunately, Elisha extended the curse to his descendants. One day, a woman came to me to say that she caught her husband with a woman, and she said that she was going to the press to announce the adultery scandal to the public and also leak the secret of how her husband became a Bishop.
I asked her what the secret was and she said that there were many contestants vying for the post of Bishop and she took him to a herbalist in her village where the man did something with the skull of a human being and her husband got the post. I asked her to tell me about the marital life of her own biological family she then told me that her father had three wives, that her mother too moved from one husband to the other.
She also informed me that she herself had two husbands before the Bishop, who also had two women before her. I told her that she needed to pray to get out of the horrible situation rather than create a scandal. She really needed to break the evil flow.
The conflict between Esau and Jacob reveals that it is important to examine our family background to properly locate the source of our problems. We need to devote time and attention as well as a great deal of prayers to problems emanating from our family backgrounds.
MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE
Battles are fought in physical and spiritual realms. If physical warfare is real and threatening, spiritual warfare is more frightening. Your target must be victory in the spiritual realm.

1. God shall wound the head of the enemy and the hairy scalp of the wicked, in the name of Jesus
2. Lord, let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, in the name of Jesus
3. God, break the teeth of the enemy in their mouth, in the name of Jesus
4. My foundation, receive the touch of the deliverance power of God, in the name of Jesus
