2. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

We are looking at divine success today. This devotional will move you to the peak of success. Success is the strength to maximally utilize your ability. Success is bouncing back when you hit the bottom. Success makes your life a masterpiece, such that you stand unashamed in the presence of God and men. Success is knowing where you are going, getting there and fulfilling the purpose of God for your life.
It is important to note that success in life does not come through human efforts alone; success mostly comes through receiving divine help. Many people know about success. Many even desire it, but they never attain it for one reason or another. However, through the supernatural and enabling power of the Holy Spirit, you can overcome all obstacles and reach your goal in life.
God showed Joshua the secret of success when he was taking over the leadership of Israel from Moses. Joshua gave himself fully to the word of God and he became great in life. Through the power of God, he divided the River Jordan and the children of Israel crossed it to possess their inheritance. One lesson we learn from Joshua is the importance of abiding in the word of God. This is a major secret of success. There can be no real success without the help of God. Though the children of Israel had very formidable enemies, they overcame all of them because God was with Joshua.
Today’s text outlines other ingredients of success that you must possess in your life. You must avoid the paths of the ungodly and delight in the law of God. The word of God is complete; it teaches the secrets of successful living.
Do you want to attain success in every area of your life? The very first thing you must do is repent from every known sin and turn to Christ. Receive His Holy Spirit and allow Him to teach and empower you in all your ways. Ask the Lord to grant you uncommon success and prosperity.
PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
- Anointing for uncommon success, come upon my life, in the name of Jesus.
- O Lord, reveal the secrets of success to me through Your word, in the name of Jesus.
- O gates of brass and bars of iron working against my prosperity, be broken, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
- Every agenda of failure against my life, be frustrated, in the name of Jesus.
- I come against every form of disappointment at the edge of success, in the name of Jesus.
- O Lord, release the oil of excellence upon the works of my hands, in the name of Jesus.
- I mount up with wings as eagles, in the name of Jesus.
