MFM Devotional Today 13th February 2024 MESSAGE
For some days in our devotional, we would be looking at the enemies of the family, how we can stop them and take back whatever they have stolen from us as families. God meant well when He founded the family institution for the smooth running of things here on earth in order to fulfil His divine eternal agenda for man. It was not the plan of God for man to go through pains while trying to live and work in order to accomplish his divine role on earth. However, satan, the enemy of mankind, came and scuttled that beautiful plan, although with the cooperation of man consciously or unconsciously.
A deep study of the word of God reveals that anyone, who is interested in maintaining a family that will please God and make heaven, must be wary of the devil. He deceived man into disobeying God and man fell out with His Maker, which marked the beginning of the woes of man (Genesis 3:1-6). His main mission is focused on derailing families in order to thwart the will of God for man. His agenda of stealing, killing and destruction is carried out through people. And where do people come from? They come from families; they are members of one family or another in the different parts of the world.
How does the devil operate and unleash terror against families? He enters the hearts of family members to plant seeds of disobedience, rebellion, hatred, discord, betrayal, murder, strife, disunity and so on. With these, he turns parents and children against one another, causes sibling rivalry and puts the family in disarray. The devil influenced Cain to kill Abel. He filled Amnon with lust, made him to commit incest with Tamar, his half-sister and fuelled Absalom with rage that led to the killing of Amnon. He also made Absalom so over-ambitious that he plotted a coup to take over the throne from his father, David.
The devil is clearly the number one enemy of the family institution. Any family that wants to fulfil God’s divine purpose for it must be determined to resist the devil in every way. To actualise the agenda of God for your family, you must not give any inch to satan.
𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆
1. I shall not put my family in trouble, in the name of Jesus.
2. Any power pushing my family away from God’s presence, die, in the name of Jesus.
3. My family shall not miss heaven, in the name of Jesus.

4. Every Goliath assigned against my family, die, in the name of Jesus.
5. Every Herod assigned against my family, die, in the name of Jesus.
6. Every Pharaoh assigned against my family, die, in the name of Jesus.
7. Every agent of darkness assigned against my family, die, in the name of Jesus.
