MFM Devotional 12 July 2026 – MESSAGE
We continue our discourse on the channels of healing. The word of God is another channel of healing. The Bible says in Psalm 138:2 that the Lord has magnified His word above His name. The word of God will not return to Him void; it must perform His desire (Isaiah 55:11). This same word of God is a channel of healing.
Yesterday, we read about the centurion who demonstrated faith in the word of Jesus. He asked Him to only speak the word because he knew how powerful the word of God is. Today, we read about Peter healing the lame man at the Beautiful gate of the temple with the word of God in his mouth. This goes to show the power in the word of God.
The primary source of the word of God is the Bible. What does the Bible say about your healing? What are the promises of God concerning your health? There are loads of them.
All you have to do is open your Bible and open your heart so that you can hear God speak to you.
The word of God can also come through His representative. Your pastor can speak the word of God over you; you may receive a word of knowledge in a meeting; you yourself can actually hear God speak to you concerning your situation. When you have received the word of God, you have to keep confessing that word. Make sure you don’t stop believing and confessing. Also, meditate on the word rather than on your situation. The word of God works wonders.
Beloved, lay hold on the word of God today. Remind God of His promises through the word, not because God has forgotten but because you are showing Him that you align with His word. May the power in the word of God work healing in every area of your life, in Jesus’ name.

1. O Lord, fill my heart with Your words, in the name of Jesus.
2. Every enemy of the word of God in my life, be destroyed, in the name of Jesus.
3. Let the power in the word of God be made manifest in every area of my life, in the name of Jesus.
