TOPIC: Unlocking New Dimension of God’s Power (1)

Fire Scripture:
Mark 2:1-5

2 And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house.

² And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.

³ And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.

⁴ And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.

⁵ When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.

MFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL 3RD JULY 2023

It is often amazing to see that when we pray and expectantly wait to receive from God, we limit His response to particular ways and manner. Mary Christians, even the mature ones, still conform to certain traditions in praying and receiving answers to prayers. One thing you should know is that God cannot be boxed to a corner, neither can you limit or contain Him in your laboratory test tube as a scientist, or your textbook as it were.

Our God is awesome and His ways no man can fathom. He sometimes do things that are beyond human knowledge and comprehension. Yes, God is God! His ways are far from our ways, and His thoughts from our thoughts, as written in scriptures. But interestingly, you can experience this awesome power of God it and when you are ready to demonstrate a radical faith that does not compromise with the traditions of men, neither conform to a fixed pattern of position, manner of praying and others of such. Do you want to see God do a new thing? Move in a new way to perform His work in your life? Then, get ready to unlock a new dimension of the power of God through faith that does not take no for an answer.

Be ready to do what nobody has done before through rugged obedience to the Holy Spirit. In fact, at such times people may see you as strange and call you names, but one thing remains true, God has the sole prerogative to bring His will to pass. That is what we call “miracle, signs and wonders”, because human words cannot explain it.

May you experience a new dimension of God’s power today, in the name of Jesus. Looking through the fire scripture for today, you can see the friends of the sick man, who decided to do something radical to get the attention of Jesus concerning their friend’s health condition. It is important they do something out of the normal to get the supernatural touch. Had they remained in the crowd, they would have only seen limitations and reasons why they could not reach Jesus. Possibly their friend would have died even at a close range to the Giver of life.

They connected to divine wisdom and did what no one had done before: opening the roof to lower down the sick man. It got the attention and compassion of Jesus. He saw their faith and healed the sick man.
In Luke 8:43-48, the Bible also reveals how rugged faith unlocked a dimension of God’s power in Jesus’ healing of the woman with the issue of blood.

Beloved, what is that impossible situation confronting you? God is perfect at making impossible situations possible. No laws or principles of man can limit Him. When you are able to do the uncommon thing. He will perform uncommon miracles in your life as He did for those people, in the name of Jesus.

MORNING
1. Spirit of doubt and unbelief, jump out of my life and die, in the name of Jesus.
2. Powers limiting divine abilities in my life, die, in the name of Jesus.
3. O God, arise and make the impossible possible in my life, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING
4. As l touch the hem of Jesus’ garment by faith, stubborn situations in my life, give up by fire, in the name of Jesus.
5. Every hindrance between me and the divine touch, I pull you down, in the name of Jesus.
6. O God my Father, let me experience Your awesome power for turnaround miracles, in the name of Jesus.
7. I enter into a new realm of miracles, signs and wonders, in the name of Jesus.
